Peel P50 as seen on Top Gear

Exciting news – we have on display in our showroom one of Top Gears (yes the television program!) best cars of all time. Could it be the sub zero Bugatti Veyron or the super cool Ferrari 599gt that the lads all rave about? No it is better than all those. Jeremy found the future of personal mobility in the form of the Peel P50 microcar from, er, 1963. When most of us travel to the office we have to park our cars in the basement or use some sort of public transport because we are responsible beings. Not Clarkson. No, Jeremy just drove the tiny Peel through the front doors, into the lift and straight up to the office. It gave Andy such big ideas! Even the Guinness Book of Records officially recognises the Peel P50 as the smallest production car in the World and it is British. The Hammond name has long been associated with these amazing mechanical marvels known as collectively as microcars. The Nation will want to view this most petite member of the collection temporarily back to Sidcup, a place where it was rehabilitated so many years ago.
