CalShot - Corrosion Inhibitor

CalShot is another new product. A corrosion inhibitor using a concertina-style bottle that is easily squeezed either directly through the radiator, through the filling loop or into a header tank. Within 5 minutes the job is done saving the engineer time and money.

Anton Eikon CO - Personal CO alarm

We have been asked quite a few times recently about personal CO alarms. As usual we have done our homework and are now able to offer this new device called an Eikon CO. As you can see it is very compact and is supplied to all Gas Safe Register Inspectors. It is toughly constructed and provides both audible and visual alarms warning you of hazardous CO conditions.

Frost Sentry from Teddington

Another useful boiler part from Sabres the heating specialist stockist. Frozen condensate pumps are a regular problem for UK homeowners during icy winter months. The steady trickle of water slowly being removed from the boiler can freeze in unprotected pipework, and over time will completely block the pipe and cause the boiler to stop working.

The Frost Sentry from Teddington is designed to prevent condensate pipes from freezing when temperatures fall below 2.5 degrees C. Once fitted, your boiler or air conditioning unit is protected right down to -20 degrees C.

The compact trace heater is straight forward to install, comes wuth everything you need, and works automatically once installed on any make of condensing boiler - a true fit and forget product!

Air Source Heat Pump

Sabre Systems (Heating) Ltd now boast a working demonstration model of an Air Source Heat Pump in our showroom in Sidcup Kent. This heating renewable energy product is available to view. Come and see it and be impressed at how quickly it can convert ambient air into useable heat simply by feeling a radiator heat up in front of you.

Trade Training Morning

Sabre is keen to promote training for our customers. On Tuesday 31st May 2011 we will be hosting a Trade Training morning. Representatives from IDEAL boilers will be introducing the new Independent Combi and the next generation Logic boilers. There will also be an opportunity to learn all about the latest Combustion Analysers and Gas Safety Kits from KANE.

It has been recently redesigned to make the whole gadget easier to fit. It can reduce installation costs by 30% and save a lot of work by leaving your current heating system unchanged. In-2-Out Flue Fix Accessory

Boiler spares brought to you by Sabres.This unique flue sealing accessory allows safe and effective sealing of the heating flue from the INSIDE of the building.

This means scaffolding, ladders or access platforms are not required. Can be used with most 100mm wall terminals for condensing boilers.

Successful Trade Market Day

Wilo, Honeywell, Riomay, Fernox, Salus, Drugasar, EOGB, MHG, Pipers and Worcester all came to our Trade Market Day. Many of our customers were able to quiz the Reps and find about their latest products.

Customers were also able to enjoy the golf simulator that we had set up for the day and other entertainment. The winner of the round of Golf at the Belfry was a very happy Danny Harris.

Trade Market Day

Sabre will be holding a Great Trade Day on Wednesday 8th September 2010 at our Ruxley Showroom. Many manufacturers will be represented including Worcester Bosch, Riomay, Honeywell, Fernox and many more.

There will be one or two competitions including a Wii contest and an interactive simulator.

Kent Air Ambulance to the rescue

On the 6th September 2008 Sabre Systems (Heating) Ltd hosted its inaugural charity golf day at High Elms Golf Club in Downe, Kent.

Directors and employees were joined on the day by a surprisingly upbeat contingent of customers and manufacturer�s representatives on what turned out to be one of the wettest days on record of any of our lifetimes!

If the human race had evolved with upside-down noses we would of all drowned!

However, just as the human race has prevailed so too did the golfers, with the determination to overcome mother-nature strengthening our resolve to complete the round and enjoy the day.

There was a worthwhile reason for the day though, which was to help raise funds for our nominated charity � the Kent Air Ambulance Trust.

Responding swiftly to 999 calls, the Kent Air Ambulance can deliver its highly skilled team of Doctors and Critical Care Paramedics to the scene of an accident or medical emergency within minutes. The Kent Air Ambulance can reach any part of Kent within 15 minutes flying time and can transport patients to the most appropriate specialist unit or nearest major hospital in a fraction of the time taken by land ambulance. Kent Air Ambulance is funded entirely by voluntary donations, receiving no Government, National Lottery or NHS funding. Every penny of the £1.6 million it costs to keep the life saving helicopter in our skies 365 days a year comes from individuals, groups, businesses, companies and clubs from all over Kent.

Andy Hammond (Managing Director 2nd right) and Gary Haseltine (Business Manager 2nd Left) were delighted to visit the Kent Air Ambulance headquarters recently to hand over a cheque for £1264.14 which is the end result of our money raising activities during 2008. We were told that it costs £1200 every time the helicopter takes off, so our donation is almost exactly the cost of one rescue mission to help save a life.

The Air Ambulance staff were very hospitable and the work carried out by this dedicated team deserves our support.
